May Movie Magic Film Festival Weekend with Toronto Film Society

Toronto Film Society’s MAY MOVIE MAGIC weekend will take place from Friday, May 12th through Sunday, May 14th with its feature star being Mr. EDWARD G. ROBINSON!

Twenty-two films in all, TFS has chosen six showcasing Mr. Robinson’s great acting skill in diverse roles from his best-known persona as a gangster to compassionate, real-life doctor:

The Hole in the Wall (1929), E.G.’s first role as a gangster, rarely seen
Little Caesar (1931), the role that made him famous
Thunder in the City (1937),  E.G. as a business man
The Amazing Dr. Clitterhouse (1938), doctor or criminal?
The Story of Dr. Ehrlich’s Magic Bullet (1940), the real-life doctor
The Red House (1947), film noir genre

  • Friday, May 12th through Sunday, May 15th:
    Early Bird price $100 up until and including April 2, 2017;
    $120 from April 3 onward

Daily Rates:

  • Friday, May 12th Only: $50
  • Saturday, May 13th Only: $50
  • Sunday, May 14th Only: $45

Single Ticket Rates:

  • $10 per screening – Rush Seats only
